Scholorship

Merit-cum-Means Scholarship of Rs. 1000/- p.m. to 10% of students and Rs. 500/- p.m. to 5% of the students are awarded considering their merit and the income limit of their parents.

Loan Facilities

A loan scheme named "Gyan Jyoti Scheme- Loans for Education " has been launched by the State Bank of India, for which an arrangement has been made by the College with the Mecheda Branch of State Bank of India. For further details the Branch Manager of SBI, Mecheda Branch may be contacted. .

Amartya Siksha Yojana Policy

This schene in the form of a policy has been launched by the General Insurance Company in tune with the teachings of Nobel Laureate Prof. Amartya Sen who has been campaigning for education for all. As per this policy no student will have to give up his/her studies mid-way due to any contingency in his/her family. In the event of accidental death or death during surgical operation or death within a period of 7 days from the date of operation/permanent total disability of the parent/guardian who is to bear the cost of expenses, the GIC will provide the following coverage:

a. Cost of tuition fees, hostel rent (inclusive of expenses for board), cost of books and periodicals essentially prescribed by the Head of the Institution.

b. Examination fees.

c. Cost of to and fro 2nd Class Rail Fare for the student to attend the place where the parent has met with the covered accident or the place as stated in schedule where the Insured parent/guardian resides, after the covered accident.

d. Compulsory donation for Festivals and Picnic/Excursion held on behalf of the Institution.

e.Cost of compulsory expenses to be borne under recommendation of the Head of the Department/Institution.

Premium

For this wide coverage the premium for a student will be Rs. 321.00 for the entire 4 year term for Rs. 2,00,000/-

Period

The policy period may be 1 to 5 years. For further details students may contact Asst. Registrar (F&A) of the college.
